The story “Peacekeepers” from the western coast. Part One.
Hi, Stopgame, I want to say that Total War and a couple of previous blogs inspired me with the story I invented by me. If at least someone likes it, I will release the continuation.
Tick-t. Tick-t. Tick-t.
Usually a knock of watch reassures me, but this morning everything was exactly the opposite. Each past second only beat me more in the head, as if to say: “Your failure. Ha. Ha. Your failure. Ha. Ha…”
From the stupor I was led by the opening door and the incoming captain Fergus, whom I had previously sent to find out the situation in the ministry. In response to my dumb question, Dylan sighed and began to tell:
– Arris Aivinivite is indignant and demands to punish us as responsible for marine defense. The commander of the Iron Legion, as usual, is submitted to him, and Ire Bivinkotha protects us, saying that the mercenaries were not able to stop the damn invasion.
– You don’t think that we need to reveal our mistake? – Dylan asked with some suspicion.
– I … I don’t know. So many victims and for which? To steal some money?
-Well, first of all, Doher of money, not Ninewin Casino “a little”. Secondly, we are mercenaries, what else to expect from us? They would give us honor to be called a clan and there would be no problems, because we could collect tribute from the surrounding villages. You yourself know that we do not have enough funding. Curse, it was your idea, Ron!
In response, I just sighed. Yes, it was my idea to embellish expenses on the northern flotilla in order to put money in a pocket. And so they would immediately go to create a western coastal battery.
“Listen,” Dylan said conciliatoryly, “no one will even know about our little miss if we just shut up. None of these idiots with katani will even recognize!
– Does not know what? -some third asked mockingly.
Dylan jumped in surprise, but my heart almost stopped.
– Hey guys, it’s me, John, I just joked! – barely seeing our faces, he immediately felt guilty.
– I really have no idea what is happening. Why everyone rushes, like a funk one, and Hugh gathered at the ministry?
– WHAT? – we asked in chorus.
“What is it …” John asked, perplexed.
– Because Hugh is a native of Albion and does not know how to lie like all Eldars!
– Well, Johnny, I will describe you briefly on the way, ”Dylan hissed and looked at me,“ Ron, you will go with us? Any help with Hugh will come in handy, you yourself know that he is stubborn and painfully honest.
Feeling that loneliness will only put pressure on my nerves, I nodded and got up from the chair.
– Great! Now listen to what happened in the morning, ”the captain said, going out into the corridor,“ today, about nine forty -local time, the nineteenth western construction post reported to the dispatcher that he sees the armada of ships approaching from the west. The dispatcher tried to establish contact with the admiral of that fleet, but did not manage, and therefore transmitted with an open message that if no one contacts him, he would order the coastal batteries to open fire. In response to this threat, the fleet with four volleys turned the nineteenth western construction post, as well as the planned structures of batteries, in ruins. It is clear so far?
“Oh,” John said pale.
– Wonderful, then we will continue. The dispatcher, realizing that the connection was lost, gave the order to the seventh Western detachment of the coast guard to explore the situation, but received information almost immediately. It turned out that the fleet consists of ten class A ships upholstered. Six went to the Violet dawn, and the remaining were divided into two equal groups and went in opposite directions along the coast. The dispatcher tried to warn the garrison of the coastal fortress under construction in a fishing village located in the bay, but was late because the garrison was the first to demand support. The sent detachment consisting of three techno -Samurai and two representatives of our office found out that at first the ships were destroyed by volleys, and then he landed the landing. All survivors, except for the rescued four children, were taken to ships as captives. The advancing instantly occupied the fortress and took control of the village when the detachment had to retreat. This is what the dispatch of the Holy Archipelago told the Minister of Defense of the Holy!
